Captain Stovall provides relocation and delivery services for vessels on the water including deliveries to new owners, transfers between yacht brokers, dealerships, and boat shows, moving vessels for the upcoming season, and relocating your boat to the shipyard for service. Based in Los Angeles, Capt. Stovall serves clients throughout North America.
Captain Stovall has logged over 20,000 nautical miles on the Pacific and Atlantic oceans and Caribbean Sea beginning in 1983 with the U.S. Navy. After his military service, he worked aboard salvage and diving vessels in Key West, Florida and later formed his own delivery company serving yacht owners and brokers. He holds a current USCG Master 200gt (with Sail Endorsement) Merchant Mariner credential.
Captain Stovall provides repositioning voyages from one location to another, and offers deliveries for vessels on the water.
Long distance delivery jobs are physically demanding and usually continue for several days up to weeks depending on the distance.
